Why Google Bans Sites From Appearing In Its Search Results ?

You may get banned from Google for violating their terms of service in a single line. But what are these terms of service?

You may get banned from Google for the below mentioned reasons:-

Banned

1.) If you post duplicate content (content copied from other sites) in your blog / site.

If you post copied content in your blog your site may likely get banned after some time. Till now I have not heard such a case but we will start hearing it sooner or later. As problem of duplicate content is rising now-a-days we are likely to hear search engine bans from Google to those duplicate sites.

2.) If you use some traffic scamming tools.

If you use some tools or scripts to generate fake traffic to your site your site may get banned from Google as soon as this comes in their eyes and it won’t take long. These scripts and tools mostly get you banned from Google. These sites may pretend that they keep your information safe but actually according to me they don’t and these can sooner or later get you banned from search engines.

3.) If you have large number of pages with same content in your blog.

You may get banned from Google if your site possesses many posts with the same content in it.

4.) Bad Links.

If you link to some suspicious sites or sites that are most probably used by hackers to install viruses and spyware and adware or malware in users computer you may get banned sure shot.

5.) Hidden Text And / Or Links.

If you are trying to link to some bad or suspicious sites by unseen methods you may get banned. If you think that I will link to these sites hiding. How can one do this? This isn’t difficult! Really? Yes! One can use CSS to do this or just change the colour of the font of text. But how do these men do this? They place the link of some colour on a background of same colour. For example, a link in white colour is placed on a page with white background. These men think they are smart but the Google guys are more smarter and can identify this easily.

6.) Keyword Spamming And Stuffing.

If you have stuffed your blog or site with unrelated keywords to your blog you may get banned from Google. If your site is about gaming and you use keywords some other high traffic generating keywords not related to your blog you may get banned from Google.

These are not the only ones which can get you banned from Google. As the web is growing the reasons too are growing. So do not do any of the following things mentioned above and be on a safe side :) .

Thanks for these tips. I have heard about a few people being banned recently and I’m sure they violated one or more of the above. If you listen to the wrong advice it can get you into trouble. Some people are being scammed by devious minds.

At least if people read this now they can be more informed.

These people without thinking of future violate terms and then suffer. So they should be alert and do things wisely and sensibly.

I check websites all the time and see unrelated keywords on 80% of them. I don’t see hidden text used that much anymore. Sometimes at the bottom of a webpage; but rarely do I come across this
