Which Blog Should I Start?

If you’ve read the last post on Blogging Junction, you might have also got a rough idea of various blog types. Let’s move further now…

Which Way To Go? Which Blog To Choose?

When a person decides to start a blog he is surrounded by many questions like which blog to start, on what niche should I write, which niche will earn me the most, etc. Not only beginners but the professional or experienced bloggers too are surrounded by similar questions!

Well the answers to these questions are within you! If you have a company and you want to update people with company’s activities, company’s achievements, etc. you should start a company blog. Company blogs are there to give people information which they want regarding the company. Just for example if your company made $1 Billion profits in January, you can update people about it from your blog. Company blogs act like your company news page!

If you are blogging for fun or to relieve tension, personal blog is perfect for you! You can create a personal blog and write about your day to day life in it. Personal blogs are not made for profiting. Personal blogs can only help to make yourself feel better.

If you want to start a blog but don’t want it to be personal or if you don’t want to share your personal life experiences, or don’t know which niche you will love to write on you can start a general blog. As I mentioned before, you can post anything in a general blog. This means you don’t have to concentrate on any niche. Write what you want! General blogs can help you earn some money, but certainly not a  living!

If earning money is your only goal for which you want to start a blog then I would suggest you to start a niche blog. A niche blog can earn the most amount of money. Why so? Content matters after all? Content does matter, but also your blog’s reader base. A niche blog has readers related to your blog’s niche. As all readers are similar or have same expectations these blogs can be most profiting as niche blogs generate more affiliate sales, ad clicks, etc. So if making money from your blog is your ultimate goal then I will suggest you to start a niche blog.

Hope the above information is enough to help you choose the perfect blog for you! If you have any questions, feel free to ask them to me! Just comment in the post or contact me using the contact form.

I don’t think selecting niche based on profitability is that important. For myself I blog on my own favorite topic which I enjoy writing just for the sake of fun and excitement. My point is money is not everything.

You’re right! That’s why I mentioned, if money is your only goal for which you want to blog then select a niche based blog.

And they are also making a full time heavy income from their blogs…..$40,000+ a month. But don’t think to achieve it as it’s very very very very difficult. And luck also pays them off..

Earning $40K a month requires a lot of hard work and effort and also a bit of luck as you mentioned.
