By Hey all my near and dear bloggers, I need your urgent help! My best friend is in trouble. Many of the people are after killing my best friend. And the worst is that my friend can’t save himself! My best friend, Tiger is in great trouble. He is been hunted by poachers for its tooth and skin. They do this for some money they will receive after selling tiger’s skin and other parts. How do they do this and why for a mere amount do they kill such cute creatures?
Try asking any kid or in fact any Indian “Who Is The National Animal Of India?”. Kids will answer quickly “Tiger”. But what about those adults? Kids know who is our national animal, but they don’t know what is its present condition and so can’t help them. But adults who know the tigers present condition, why don’t you participate in saving these pretty creatures of nature? I don’t blame any of the grown ups as there are still many of them who do their bit to save the nature, tiger. But I blame them who are unaware of the nature’s beauty who is about to go extinct, the TIGER!
There are only about 1411 tigers left in India! Yes, only 1411!! I am feeling ashamed to tell that we have only 1411 tigers left in India! This number (1411) was when the advertisement was released. It was weeks ago! And I guess, a few of those 1411 tigers might have already been killed by the greedy and selfish men! Hope this has not happened, but who knows?
We read everyday in newspapers about Tiger killings, but do we do anything to prevent this from happening? No, we don’t!!!! So sad of us!
I’ve taken a pledge to save my best friend – The Tiger! And I also request you all to do the same! Please do whatever you can to save this pretty creatures!

Thanks for posting this. Surely, if more and more people work together, we will be able to achieve something. But poaching is not really the problem. The real root is in habitat destruction. And even when there is poaching, it’s usually done by ignorant villagers who need their daily bread. We need to really think and come up with lasting solutions to the problems faced by our national animal. Best of luck to all of us !
Poaching though not the only reason for the deaths of Tigers, but is one of the main cause. Apart from it as you mentioned habitat destruction, we are all responsible for it. We need to stop destructing our habitat and nature in short.

This is so tragic – I feel like crying …but it does not surprise me ..since the beginning of time , ‘man’ has felt the desire to annihilate and control everything within this universe . Man is the Primordial beast – who devours everything which invades his space . I would like to wake up in a world where Animals are the rulers and man is the hunted ! how would we feel then ?
Ironic – how animals love and respect man , but ‘Man” has no respect nor regard for them . We do not deserve this universe ..sadly. Thank you for posting this , it was very considerate of you .

I read your post and I am also on the same path of saving our tigers and trying to do every bit I can.But still people dont understand and the media too is not covering this thing on a large scale. This figure of 1411 was taken in 2006 and today there are less than 1000 tigers left in india but the forest officials refused to accept this figure and gave there own figure of 1411 which they took in 2006 and that also by matching the pug marks ….
We need to call upon more Foreign NGOs who are having better equipments and methods and I think that this is the only hope with which we can save our tigers. I cant trust our corrupt system. They all are greedy and selfish . All they need is money and only money. It doesnt matters even if it comes by killing these innocent animals.
I dont know which way to go and whom to beg for saving these innocent animals.

hey brothers please help me out i m thinking of a road show “please save tiger”,but i do not know anything that how i can do this,any ideas so i can go further,waitng for a reply
Begin with contacting some of your friends, then search for a local or a good star who will readily perform in your show or just give a short message about saving tigers. Why not collect your friends, then practice some items for show and then ROCK ON! You will also have to take required permissions from government officers in order to do a show. Please tell me if it helped! And in which city are you planning this show?
