Interact With Other Bloggers

Hi friends! After launching the forum site in Blogging Junction, I was busy these days n managing it. I mean to say I had to make some theme changes in it also I had to configure it so that it does not cause problems to the users registering in it as well as the other visitors. Till now there are only two members in it. One of them is me and another is Rajesh Kanuri from TechCats. Thanks Rajesh for joining the forums and supporting me. I also request all the Blogging Junction readers to join the forums. If no one joins it, how will it progress? Please friends, join it!

Anyways, lets move forward. Actually I am writing this post to tell you about the importance of interacting with other bloggers. This might not seem to be useful in eyes of some, but it is indeed very useful.

Why Interact?

When you interact with other bloggers, you get to know about their views, their thoughts. You can ask them to give a short description about your site i.e. telling your site’s positive and negative points. They can tell you about what can you do to improve your site? What can be added to site and what is the unnecessary part of the site, all these questions of yours can be answered when you interact with other bloggers.

Also If you want to re-design your site and need some help, other bloggers can guide and help you. Other bloggers can also help you promote your blog and spread your word.

How To Interact?

There are many ways to interact with other bloggers. But the simplest is to go in their blog and start commenting on their posts. Thus your comments are viewed by the authors of the posts and blog and they in return come in your blog to see it. As well the authors, other readers of their blog to come to your blog. Thus you also get targeted visitors for free.

You can alternatively use Twitter, Face Book, My Space, Orkut and other such services to interact with other bloggers.

Proper Ways To Interact?

Though interacting is important, you need to follow some rules in order to interact with other properly and in peace.

You should not always keep on asking questions to other bloggers about your blog. You should not always request them to promote your blog or other such things. Don’t always ask or force them for links exchange.

You can instead ask them if they need any help from you. Also you can yourself give them a short description of their blog, its good and bad points. You will think, won’t they feel bad if I point out their weak points? The answer is no. But don’t do this in public by commenting. You can privately message them or e-mail them.

I too like when some one says me my weak points. This will instead help me and encourage me to eliminate my weak points and progress.

So go ahead and interact!
