How To Unfollow People Who Don’t Tweet Often?

As most Celebrities are on Twitter, many people have started joining twitter. And here is a guide for the Twitterers who follow bulk of people to get more followers. Twitter is becoming a trend today. Even Person tweets and wants popularity and more followers. Thus, he has an intention to follow many unwanted people at a time.

But after some days with following many people, its tough to Unfollow unwanted Stale tweeples who don’t tweet often. Here is a website from which you can Unfollow them.

1. First go to the Website http://www.untweeps.com

2. There, Sign in with your twitter account.

3. You will be redirected to another page, where you can find the Tweeters who have not tweeted for a particular time as you wish say 30 days.

4. Check the the boxes for the People who you want to unfollow. For the users, Twitter said that the Check All button was a violation of the TOS. :( Better to try the CheckFox plugin for Firefox instead of wasting time checking each box.

Thank God, you can now unfollow the huge masses who have not tweeted recently.

Disadvantages of Using this:

You will be wasting time checking the boxes at “Check all” feature is not available. Most importantly the Website allows only 3 times usage a month. After that it is a paid service.

First!

Following idle twitter accounts is useless unless it have many followers. But personally, I think its still okay to keep on your list. I rarely block anybody, unless they’re spammers who @mention me.

I think this is natural. Sometimes you have to break off a relationship with someone even on Twitter. Especially when you never hear something from them for months and you realize you’re just not getting value from being in touch with them. Thanks for the advice!

FriendorFollow is another great resource like this to use for Twitter. It allows you to see who doesn’t follow you back along with who you have forgotten to follow.
