Nowadays, there are so many social media platforms and too many tools. It can be intimidating if you’re just looking for a simple way to engage your readers so that you can concentrate on your blogging. Here are 3 tools that can help increase your productivity while interacting with your readers.
RSS Feed for Facebook
RSS Graffiti is a great Facebook Application that
publishes content to your Page from your blog feed. Once connected to your site, the app will publish new blogs to your Facebook Page so that Fans can receive the latest news. The best part is that it works automatically so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of manually sharing it. You can also add feeds of your favorite blogs and news sites. Sharing relevant information and stories with your Fans is a great way to solicit feedback and encourage comments.
Share Your Old Content on Twitter
My favorite tool for Twitter is Social Oomph. It’s a free management tool where you can Tweet your new blog posts. If you have a favorite post that you have from awhile ago, don’t be afraid to share it again on your Twitter profile. You can also schedule old blog posts throughout the week/month so that they get more exposure. Twitter recently broke records as there were over 3,000 tweets PER second! Every time you publish a blog, new or old, it’s sure to reach a new audience. Make sure to ask for comments, opinions and even as for RTs. It’s tempting but don’t go overboard or you’ll venture into the land of Twitter spam!
Make More of Your WordPress Blogs
If you use WordPress as your blogging platform, the EZineArticles WordPress Plugin is a great way to share your content. When you install this plugin, you have the option of submitting it to the EzineArticles site simultaneously as you publish it to your own blog. This gives you the option to give your content more exposure without having to deal with another separate site. EzineArticles is an excellent place to find resources and if other bloggers find your work helpful, they may even share your work or cite you as a reference.
I hope you find these tools helpful for your blogging productivity and outreach. Feel free to share your favorites.

Those are some great plugins that you have mentioned Lyanna. I do use RS graffiti in my Facebook profile but I have not check Social Oomph, I will do so now. But I am double minded about the EZA plugin you mentioned, I think that this plugin will instead of helping you do more harm for you since it will create duplicate content of your article and we all know how duplicate content is frowned upon by Google. Thanks for the great article Lyanna

Even I’m a lil’ scared about duplicate content problem with EZA plugin. Well it will be good if we just post the summaries there, but that will be against EA terms!
That’s a good point.
Check out these links about more on duplicate content and the plugin:

I am using RSS Grafiti and TweetDeck. I may give Social Oomph a try but the ezine article plugin, although convenient, may create duplicate articles and downgrade them in google’s ranking.

Exactly. Use that plugin with caution!
I’m particularly interested in RSS Graffiti. But will it increase the FB Share count every time it auto-shares a new blog post?
