Hi friends! Yesterday I was not able to post in Blogging Junction due to some extra studies and lots of homework. Sorry for that.
In my last post I told you about What Things To Remember When You Apply For Google Adsense? . Did you like that post? Did you enjoy reading that post?
Was it easy to understand? Please comment!
In this post I will tell you about some…..not some but many disadvantages of using “Automatic Blogging Tools”. Yes, automatic blogging tools. Such tools are available in the market now-a-days. Don’t know how they manage to sell their products. Almost 75 per cent bloggers don’t buy them. Bu there are 25 per cent bloggers who turn greedy and buy such tools and cause themselves big problems.
These tools all claim to be able to help you create content for your blog without you having to do anything except set it up, choose a keyword/s for your blog to be about and the tools automatically updates your blog as per the time you have specified.
The sellers tool sales pages usually make claims like:-
- Update you blog automatically daily automatically.
- More traffic and good search rankings guaranteed.
- No more problems updating your blog. Daily update your blog with new content become popular.
- Automatic blog posts –> No Problems + Great income.
These are not the only ones which these sellers use to promote and sell their products. Apart from these there are innumerable other fake claims that these sellers use. They also make their buyers greedy by offering affiliate programs. In greediness some bloggers buy such fake products and call problems to themselves.
I too get many spam e-mails from such sellers asking me to buy their products and some times they even ask me to promote their products. I have never and will never believe such fake sellers. If they can create such fake programs thane we can think what other things they can do.
How It Works?
Most of such tools are programmed like for us to just type the keyword and the tools automatically gets posts from the article directories and updates our blog. While some make use of RSS. They ask us to type the RSS Feed URL of the blog’s content which you want in your blog. How it works? When the blog’s whose RSS feed URL you have typed gets updated automatically posts are created in your blog.
Reasons to avoid Automated blogging Tools and Services:
1.) Non – Unique Content (Posts): -
As I have told their working above we can make sure that the content you will get in your blog through these methods will not be unique. As they are present already in some other sites or blogs how can the content be original? How can it be unique? Will it increase your blog’s reputation as per the sellers claims? No, it won’t in any way. The number of posts doesn’t matter but their quality matters. This means if you post even 5 posts a week but they are of good quality and are original the posts will be a hit rather than the copied articles.
2.) Content You Get Is Useless: –
The content that helps your blog readers in some way or the other way is called USEFUL content. And USELESS content is one which no one is interested in reading. These automated tools generate nothing but USELESS content.
They copy article from articles directories or some other blog you have programmed it to. If the article directory has got some very low quality posts and the keyword you provided matches it, then think what quality posts you will get. Many a time posts in these articles directories are advertisements and just promotional posts. Will you like these sorts of posts in your blog?
3.) Lots Of Risk From All The Sides: -
When you copy articles from these article directories or sites or blogs you can face many serious problems. Many a times these articles can be copyrighted that means you are not allow to reproduce them anywhere.
- Breaking Copyright: – Use others content withour thei permissions. You may face many serious problems if you do this. You can even face legal proceedings. The original authors can even move to court against you. You can be caught by cyber crime officials.
- Get Banned: - When you copy articles from other sites the author can file a complain against you with you host and other services that you use. If you use Adsense or othersuch advertising services, they may ban you from showing their ads in your site. None of them support piracy. You may think I’ll re create an account again. This isn’t possible. You will get caught easily.
- Lose Your Traffic: - As per the sellers claims these tools make you get traffic. But they rather decrease your traffic. Many search engines that are your major sources of readers, visitors and in general traffic will ban you from their search results. This means that your site won’t appear in their search results.
- Spoiling Of Your Name: - Many authors whose content you copy may insult you in front of all their crowd and you will lose all your reputation. They usually will write a post telling their users that this person has copied my posts and you will be insulted.
I hope after reading all these you are sure that you won’t buy such products. If you are still not ready to believe me consult other bloggers too. Their opinions might be the same too.
Instead I recommend you to post content in your blog yourself. This means self – written and original articles. This will give you more traffic and more user satisfaction.
Remember my post whenever you turn greedy to get fast content for your blog.

Really agree with you that automatic content really useless for blog. It may work for first short at time, but it really bad for long time.
You are right. Automatic content is bad for a blog and also spoils the image of the blog.
Honestly before reading this article I didn’t even know automatic blogs existed. That’s crazy how someone would pay for some generic articles just to make some spare change. At least I try to make most of my posts as original as possible if they are not simple tutorials and such. This just amazes me..
I too love to post original articles as they are good for your blog’s reputation and bring to you many visitors.
I definitely agree with you that automated blogging is no good. I have some questions about this practice.
Are you referring to sites that publish your work without seeking permission and just send you a trackback for approval of a link back to them? What if you do not approve the link (trackback), it will then be a one-way backlink to your site? Will disapproving the trackback do good to your site?
I am not to those who copy my content and give me just a trackback to get a backlink from my site. I only approve their trackback when they have post an excerpt of the post, not the full post. No one has still copied my content. If someone does in future I will first warn him. Most people agree after the warning. But there are some who don’t agree. To these I will probably complaint to the DMCA and other advertisers of that site after which they stop advertising on that site as they will now know that the site is illegal. This will take away all the income of that site and now the copier of my content will have to give up.
