In my last post we differentiated between Blogger & WordPress. We concluded which is the best. The conclusion was WordPress is the best. Here I will tell you the importance of reading others posts and blogs.
In this post we are here to discuss about the importance of reading.
Yes, reading is more important than writing. Why so? If I only keep reading and don’t write anything, how will my blog grow?
Answer is, I don’t say you to keep reading the full day long. Just read a little more than writing. I too while writing a single post read more than 10 other posts from various other blogs. Am I wasting my time? Not at all.
It is not a waste of time. If you read you get knowledge. If you read more you get more knowledge. If you read more than you write the posts you write automatically becomes more descriptive and contain a good amount of information.
If you read the posts related to the topic you are writing on other blogs, you get an idea how the author of that blog has presented that post? What has he written? And how has he written?
After reading many articles if you write your post, your post automatically becomes a descriptive and an informative one. How? If you read ten articles related to the post you are writing, you get information of ten articles. Then you can put all the information you have read in that ten articles in your one post. Naturally all the users will be attracted to your post as it contains all the information.
Reading ten articles and writing in your blog in one post, does not mean to copy these articles and post in your blog. You read these articles and present it in your own unique way. Add some more points and finish your post. I bet users will be dragged to your post.
I myself read ten+ articles when I write a single article. This helps my post to be informative and descriptive. Follow what I say and your posts will be truly good.
More Reading + Writing = Good Posts

As a blogger, you’ve got to be able to do research, no matter what you’re niche. If you plan on being accepted as somewhat of an authority figure or an expert, you’ve got to know what you’re talking about. So, yes, you’ve got to read more than you write.
I totally agree, but here’s some other reason to go around reading other blogs -
* Inspiration and ideas for future posts that you wouldn’t have thought of otherwise.
* Networking – getting to know people you didn’t know before and expanding your influence by making connections.
If you plan on having a successful blog, you’ll need all of this.
I agree with you! In order to be a successful blogger, you need to interact with other bloggers and exchange comments. We need to read others posts so as to gain some extra knowledge on our topic and get ideas for our future posts.
