By Now-a-days we can see that almost every site whether it be a blogging
tips site or a computing help site or may be a gaming site, every site has a forum board in it for quick discussions and solving of problems or answering of queries quickly. Blogging Junction too has got a forum board.
You might think, why join these forum sites? By answering others questions, how can we benefit? Why waste our time in answering others questions? These are some of the excuses that we usually give if we don’t want to join a forum site. According to me we are just acting foolish when we give such excuses. Lets see in detail how joining forums can help you.
What Are Forums?
Forums are the place for us to discuss questions and answers. Here we can ask for any doubts of ours. In the forums we can ask the questions if we have any. Forums are a great place to share our views regarding something. Forums are a great place to ask for help or support.
Why Join Forum Sites?
As forums are a place to ask questions and answers, here our questions can get answered easily and quickly. If we are seeking some help regarding some help, whether it be if we want to buy some goods or an electronic gadget and want some reviews about it, we can get them easily at the forums. If you are planning to register a domain or buy hosting and want to find out the best place to do so, just ask at the forums and get answered quickly. Here we can get some useful and original reviews and not reviews written by someone just for money.
As forums contain a lot of users unlike a single blog with one author, our questions are seen by the world at a flash and anyone an answer them. One question can get 100 different answers and we can choose the best from it for us.
How Do We Benefit From A Forums Site?
Remember, do not do everything just for seeking some benefits or you may call it as “Monetary Gains”. Money isn’t everything, it is just something. In other words, money isn’t life. A forums site may or may be not benefit you with money, but it can help you in certain other ways.

2.) You can form your image online. People will come to know that this person has got knowledge and can help us solve our problem or problems.
3.) If you help well or write well, you may probably can be made authors (Moderators,Etc.) there. This attracts other users to you and you can even get job oppurtunities from it. (For example, as a web designer if you help solve desigining questions, as a author for a site or a blog if you write really good, etc.)
4.) You can get some traffic from a forums site. When you answer a question or questions in a forum site, and if the asker likes your answer, he may in many cases (About 99 %) visit your blog or site you mentioned in the forums.
5.) You can get some essential backlinks from the forum sites.
6.) Some forum sites offer a share in their revenue, if you participate well in these forum sites, you can get some money or income.
7.) You can get free advertising there in forums. If a forum site allows a place for you to showcase your site, you can do that in that section and get your site known. But do not do this in a forum site, where there is not this section. You may get banned or be regarded as a spammer. I’ve experienced this, so please don’t try this.
8.) Your questions will get answered quickly.
9.) Many of the forum site hold contests in their forum sites in order to attract users. They do if for their benefits, but they do benefit you in many ways. You can participate in such contests and if you win you benefit.

After answering most of the important questions, I don’t think this question will arise in your minds. But in any case, I will answer it. Your TIME won’t get wasted as you derive so many benefits from joining a forums site. Instead you may get free knowledge in an easy way and for free.

Great to see you are trying to promote your forum, you now look serious on it. You said right, most of the well known site have their own forum or vice verse. Remember, all those site either first established as forum or as site but in your case you trying to do it parallely which may make your way difficult. Anyway, best of luck with your forum.
Actually I don’t get enough time to post everyday. Though I try to do it, I am unable. So I launched BJ Forums. If anyone needs help or has doubts, he can proceed and ask there and other members will answer to him as quickly as possible. Even if I am unable to answer, the person will get his answer.
Very true but the amount of hard work on forums are way too much.. and regarding free knowledge it’s really required when you are starting out on the web

Link building process through forums is really slow. Most of the time, search engine even not recognize the link.
The links are complicated ones. They are difficult to understand and remember as well. Search Engines mostly fail to recognize them as you said.

I joined Lisa Irby’s Website Babble forum when I first started blogging and for there was a steady stream of traffic to my blogs. I learned a lot from the forum and it feels good to go back and share some of what I learned with others. It’s a great community and I recommend it.
