In my last post I told you how to choose a theme for your blog and what factors are necessary to be considered while choosing a theme. Hope you found that post useful. HTML and PHP both are useful to edit themes. I will tell more of its importance in the rest of the post.

It is not necessary that if you know HTML & PHP only can you start a blog. It is an advantage to have the ability to learn and work on a technical level. You’ll be working on a computer with web based software and at times you’ll need to ‘Tweak’ your blog. Knowing how to do it yourself can be very handy.

Suppose your theme does not have a certain feature and you want to add it in our blog. What to do? Theme does not have that feature? If you don’t have any knowledge it becomes a tough job figuring this. You can do nothing except hiring a PHP or HTML programmer. So its an advantage if you know HTML and PHP. With this you may edit your themes and various aspects of your blog site on your own.

It’s never too late. You can still learn PHP and HTML now. You don’t have to learn it full. Just the basic knowledge will do.

You can learn PHP and HTML at various places. Just at a computer centre near your home. As you just need the basic knowledge, you may learn these on internet itself. Just search in the internet. There are many sites that teach you this. As Blogging Junction teaches you Blogging, there are many sites that will teach you HTML and PHP.
