How To Add A Contact Form In Your Blog?

A contact form is one of the most important element of a blog. Contact form allows people to say you “Hi”, “Invite you to their blogs”, “Share their views on your blog and posts”, “Give suggestions for improvement of your blog”, “Guest posting”, “Advertising”, etc. Contact forms are really important for a blog. So does your blog has a contact form? If no, let me help you to add a simple and fast contact form in your blog.

Contact Form

For WordPress Blogs:

1.) Download “Contact Form 7”.

2.) Extract, Upload in “wp-content/plugins” directory and activate the plugin.

3.) Click on “Contact Form” in the admin dashboard. It will either appear in your blog admin panel sidebar or your navigation bar if you use OZH Admin Drop Down Menu or any such plugin.

4.) Use the default contact form or create one for your needs and containing fields you want.

5.) Copy the code given to add the contact form in your posts or pages.

6.) Click on “Pages → Add New Page”. Give the page a title “Contact” and paste the code copied earlier in the content field. And finally hit the publish button. The contact form is now live in your blog! Wasn’t that easy?

–> Alternatively you can use Fast Secure Contact Form plugin to add a contact form in your WordPress blog easily and quickly.

For Blogspot Blogs:

As Blogspot doesn’t support plugins, you have to use external services to add contact forms in blogspot blogs. Here are 2 sites that allow you to add contact form in your blogspot blog.

1.) Kontactr is one of the most popular contact forms provider for blogs and websites. Using it is simple. You just have to register in their site, customize your contact form and get the contact form code, add it in your site page. It’s very simple!

2.) Alternatively you can use Conactify to add a contact form in your blog or site. Its as easy as Kontactr. I personally like Kontactr more!

So installed a contact form in your blog? Do let us know what you think of this tutorial.

I like the DDFM form mailer plugin. Used it for several years on my blogs and it has proven not only flexible but also extremely secure. Never got any spam from it, which is a nice bonus

I have used “Contact Form 7” some time ago and i must say, CForm from deliciousdays is way better option if you want to customize fields/design etc and even want to create multiple forms. Never heard of Kontactr though.

I’ve even used CForms. It has far better design and looks and styles. And really good customization options. I like that too :) Kontactr is good for blogspot blogs.
