7 Best Ad Publishing Networks For Bloggers To Earn More Money

Google Adsense :

The best ad publishing network for bloggers and other google-adsense-logosite owners too. It is the best in the world of ad publishing. With high amount given to users who really work hard. Currently it is the leader in the world of Ad publishing. I am eagerly waiting for my first Adsense account approval which I believe will soon be approved. I have seen many videos of Adsense and with them I can surely say that it is the real leader in the world of ads publishing.

Chitika :

It is a good adsense alternative. I have not used but chitika-logohave seen many positive reviews about it and also have been recommended by many friends. It has many options in it but the ads are very geo targeted. This is the reason I don’t like using Chitika. I don’t recommend it to anyone, whose site visitors do not come from these countries in their geo targeted list. It consists of USA and Canada. If your users dont come from these countries, ads do not display or you can configure options to display an alternative ad or an back fill ad.

AdBrite :

It is also a good service. It also pays more money. But most of adbrite-logothe times ads don’t appear on your site.It according to me has a less advertiser base. I do not recommended Adbrite for bloggers though. The ads are less in number, but when they display they are high paying ones mostly.

BidVertiser :

It is not that good service according to me. It does not bidvertiser-logogenerate much income. The ad click rates are very less and don’t earn you much. But its referral system is good. It is not  recommended by me with sites with low traffic and less keyword targeted posts.

Tribal Fusion :

If you have a well developed site Tribal Fusion is a very good tribal-fusion-logoalternative. It does not accept mostly small sites. It requires a certain umber of visitors and page views in order to be accepted for its publisher base. Once approved it will earn you a good amount.

Widget Bucks :

Widget Bucks according to me is a good Adsense widgetbucks-logoalternative. But its ads are much geo targeted. There are only two options available presently i.e. normal ads and pop under ads. Normal ads ex. banner ads display only for visitors form USA and / or Canada and some very few other countries. It does not benefit when maximum visitors of your site do not come from these countries.

Kontera :

It is a good site. I don’t like it that much as compared to kontera-logoother ones  given above. It only has content link. Ads display when a keyword  in their advertiser database matches a keyword in a post or page in  your site. The keyword will be highlighted for which ads are available. It is not a banner or a text link ad like one we see in Google Adsense. The ad appears when a user hovers above the highlighted keyword. There are many options for this ads itself.

This list is still incomplete. If you have any other ad networks in your mind please tell me. Share your views here by commenting.

So, it seems Google still remains as the top ad provider.

Saksham Talwar September 10, 2009 at 2:47 PM

Yes it does. Is a well known and a quality service. That’s the reason that makes it the best.

Ajinkya @ QwertyWEB June 19, 2010 at 4:27 PM

Google Adsense is the best among all other networks !Tried all of em except TribalFusion , which is very difficult to get approved ! Contextweb is an another network which is again the best ppm which should have been mentioned :)

Saksham Talwar June 20, 2010 at 8:57 PM

I will try it and include in my future posts. Thanks for suggesting! Adsense is the best!

Uday September 10, 2009 at 7:15 PM

Why did u leave out clicksor?

Saksham Talwar September 10, 2009 at 9:12 PM

Thanks for questioning. Actually I haven’t used Clicksor. If you have used it and can write a short review about it you’re welcome. I will post it in BJ with backlinks to your website.

Rahul September 16, 2009 at 1:33 PM

You can also ad clicksor, linkworth, infolinks, echotopic etc.

Saksham Talwar September 16, 2009 at 2:33 PM

Thanks for the suggestions. I will use them in my future posts.

Making money by blogging is very exciting. I make money on my 5 blogs about fashion and health.

Saksham Talwar December 7, 2009 at 4:06 PM

That’s good! Fashion and health blogs really earn you a lot.

James Fisher December 15, 2009 at 9:20 PM

I have Infolinks on my site, and while the $$ are not large, it is better than Google Adsense at the moment.

Saksham Talwar December 16, 2009 at 2:34 PM

I will try Infolinks soon! I have seen it live in many sites including yours and it really looks good when someone points over the link and the ad appears.

James Fisher December 17, 2009 at 4:49 AM

If i do a breif write up on Infolinks, would you publish it? :)

Saksham Talwar December 17, 2009 at 9:40 PM

Thanks for replying back! Are you talking about a guest post at BloggingJunction? If yes, I will surely welcome it in my blog. Please do reply!

James M. Fisher December 17, 2009 at 9:58 PM

Yes, a guest post was what I had in mind, Saksham.
Please contact me offline and we can discuss it more.

Saksham Talwar December 17, 2009 at 10:05 PM

Okay, I will!

Free Vector Graphics January 13, 2010 at 9:47 PM

hi, how about buysellads.com. One of my favorite

Saksham Talwar January 13, 2010 at 10:52 PM

I have seen BuySellAds active in many sites! It looks great, but I haven’t tried it yet. Will try it for sure!

Entertainment World March 8, 2010 at 11:12 PM

my website having 110mb hosting which ads network i have to use
my website is http://www.yoursoft.110mb.com/

Saksham T March 9, 2010 at 2:02 PM

If your host allows ads on your site, you can use all the ad publishing networks mentioned above. But use a sensible number of ads i.e. don’t use more ads. Keep the number small.

ckr March 16, 2010 at 9:57 PM

hello, this article is very usefull. I was using google adsense account of other sites account, but they banned that account without proper reason. So i am using adbrite ads. But in adbrite the ads won’t appear frequently. So suggest me some good publishing site.

Saksham T March 17, 2010 at 7:12 AM

You can try in text ads like InfoLinks. They are good and pay a lot. Its true that AdBrite ads don’t show at many instances.

Bags Girl May 24, 2010 at 4:11 AM

You should definitely add infolinks

However i would add some info about something that is almost as simple as and ad network and can be as profitable as adsense or more. There is no ad network that even comes to 50% of adsense earning under the same conditions but these ones can earn even more than adsense.

It is not fully automatic as ad network but – you only have to add you keyword. They work best for long tail product specific keywords.

1) Phpbay plugin if you have ebay publisher network account/
2) Phpzon is similar plugin for amazon affiliate account
3) For both of them you have paid and free versions.
4) wpnicheground – cjniche plugin – it is very unique because it is only Commission Junction Plugin i have found. But be aware how Cj api works –
Lets say you have keyword. Apple Ipod Mini.If you use this as keyword you will get crappy results. It is way better to use + so in this example you would use Apple+Ipod+Mini as keyword

Saksham Talwar May 24, 2010 at 6:52 PM

Thanks for the added info again! Adsense pays the most according to me! I will try the plugins you have mentioned.

Tribal fusion requires like 5K visitors each month . Clicksor would be a good option to start with too.

Tribal Fusion is only good if you have very good traffic.

Mohamed Ali June 9, 2010 at 3:40 AM

Thank you so much for sharing this valuable information
Here in this page I found answers for questions I have been asking for many years
So I’m so thankful to you
Just a little note , most of Ads publishing networks accept only western courtiers residents , and internet now days became more internationally ,
The key for the best ads network is its ability to spread globally
Thank you again

Saksham Talwar June 9, 2010 at 10:14 AM

I don’t think so mate! Almost all ad publishing networks accept all countries like Adsense, Kontera, Chitika, Etc. All the ad network leaders accept international users. Well if some don’t, its time for them to start accepting international users.

Mohamed Ali June 9, 2010 at 10:31 AM

Adsence now does not accept all countris .
im not sure about the others

Saksham Talwar June 9, 2010 at 9:23 PM

It doesn’t accept some applications because the site may not be good or may be having duplicate content or other such reasons. As far as I know, it allows everyone to participate in Adsense, but it approves applications only of those who have good sites.

Mohamed Ali June 9, 2010 at 10:34 AM

Adsence now does not accept all countris .
im not sure about the other networks

Saksham Talwar June 9, 2010 at 9:25 PM

Many networks accept people from all countries depending on how good their site is. There are some networks accepting only specific countries (Very very few).

Mohamed Ali June 10, 2010 at 5:09 AM

Sorry for the duplicated reply
to share my experience with google ads
im not livin in a westren country ,i applyed more about 3 times in 3 years for google adsence and they always reply with “your aplly was denied – reason : Google Adsence does not support this in your country now ”
not only me but i know many pp say that
and my websites are developed in good way “or that wht i think” , im a PHP coder

Saksham Talwar June 10, 2010 at 11:20 AM

No problem mate for the duplicated reply! Well then Adsense must start approving your countries. BTW, Which country do you live in?

Mohamed Ali June 10, 2010 at 1:24 PM

Im from Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Saksham Talwar June 11, 2010 at 12:28 AM

Okay… Why not file a case in Google Adsense Forums or contact Adsense support?

Mohamed Ali June 11, 2010 at 4:15 AM

I thought about it, but I guess there is no any benefits of doing this .
If you don’t mind please,I want to ask you a question about ads companies, what do u think the best for a website got only about 100 unique visit per day? Chitika , AdBrite or Kontera ? and how much do I earn (approximately of curse cus no one can say the exact amount)
Can you help please

James M. Fisher June 11, 2010 at 4:24 AM

I con only speak about Kontera & Infolinks, which are not performing very well for me. For instance, in the past 3 days, I have had 539 ad impressions with Kontera, and only three clicks. Infolinks is only slightly better. I really think most folks find the in-text ads a nuisance by now. I will probably end up dropping them altogether.

Saksham Talwar June 11, 2010 at 1:47 PM

Few weeks back I removed Infolinks as it wasn’t generating any clicks and it also increased my blog load time. I only use Adsense now.

Saksham Talwar June 11, 2010 at 1:45 PM

Well I will suggest you to go with InfoLinks then as it gives good money and can also generate good clicks if used properly. Kontera can also be good. Well I think you could earn about $1-$5 a day (Can’t be guaranteed) Well if you have good number of visits and pageviews you will certainly earn more.

Mohamed Ali June 11, 2010 at 2:50 PM

you know what, for the first time that I know about Google adsence befor 5 years, I thought and I still think it would be a way to waste time and efforts.
why?
In the world of internet , there are more than 75 million website, less than 1% of the 75 millons achieve less than 100 visits per day, (its a fact and my source is Alexa.com and other site stat tools)
why, because the Internet still monopolized by large websites and companies thats have the potential and they got huge financial and tech ability

At the begining , Google wishes to control the internet by attracting the loyalty of websites owners , so they inventing Adsence and they could occupate the most the internet business
thats was good and smart from google to do especialy thats affects in the evolution of the internet and thats lead to progress our human life BUT ppl misunderstand it or they dont know the negative effects or the bad side.

unfortunately, many are following and chasing dreams through online advertising.

if 100 visits per day mean 30 to 150 $ per month
and they spend 8 to 12 hours a day spamming and trying to generate visitors by annoying internet users
i think thats not good and the 150$ per month not enough.

what im trying to say , my point is , i think we need to rethink about is there really a good income from internet Ads , yes few do but no all of us
in another way , does it worth it؟
i dont think so , for me i just need few dollars to renew my websites ,why cus most of the registrars accept paypal or visa cards
and i got the same problem , my country visa cards are rejected , and we dont yet have any paypal

any way thanks for ur great and informative article and time
i injoyed talking to you , hope you there as well

sorry for my bad english , im still working on it

have a good day Sir

Saksham Talwar June 11, 2010 at 8:43 PM

I don’t think money earned by spamming will be enjoyed for a long time!

Don’t call me sir please!!!!! And for English it’s okay! Mine is also not that good! If you need any more help please do tell me!

Mohamed Ali June 12, 2010 at 8:02 AM

thank you again Mr. Saksham Talwar .

Mohamed Ali June 11, 2010 at 3:10 PM

Thank you James M. Fisher for your valuable information

Butler July 15, 2010 at 8:02 AM

its not an ad network but Ebay affiliate ads for auction can pay some decent cash. They recently changed how you get paid but depending on your site you could make some decent cash. ebaypartnernetwork.com for more details.

Saksham Talwar July 15, 2010 at 10:16 AM

I will try E-Bay affiliate ads. Hope they ear n me a good amount!

Saksham Talwar August 27, 2010 at 12:17 AM

Yours is a nice blog! Just try getting in some search engine traffic and increase your readers. There isn’t any problem with your content!

Chandrajit Rudra August 26, 2010 at 9:44 PM

Hey,
I’m pretty sure that Google should not remain at the top. It’s not upto the mark now as it was few years back.

Jayant September 15, 2010 at 4:37 PM

Infolinks[ur also using it] is also good, and can make a good amount of money if have a good traffic….

Saksham Talwar September 15, 2010 at 8:29 PM

Its really nice! I use it and I love it!

Android October 6, 2010 at 8:20 AM

The Google Adsense is number one. !

Saksham Talwar October 7, 2010 at 12:12 AM

bhargav November 20, 2010 at 2:34 PM

and forgot to say, please also mention the payout methods… i think low payout and through paypal/alertpay is best than cheque

Saksham Talwar November 21, 2010 at 1:46 AM

Replied to your previous comment. BSA does support Paypal.

Saksham Talwar November 21, 2010 at 1:45 AM

Youre blog hac got no traffic bro. Please increase your blog traffic and various ranks like PageRank and Alexa rank. It will help you a lot in getting advertisers. As far as per your query, you can try BuySellAds to make direct ad sales. They don’t have a CPC system.

sefuro January 9, 2011 at 10:39 PM

Saksham Talwar January 10, 2011 at 1:27 AM

What to suggest friend?

Zohan @ ScreamingTips April 4, 2011 at 1:28 PM

Adsense is always best. I have adsense account. And its earing are much better than other sites, Making content links will slow down website loading speed. I think so! So i never used it on my websites! :)

Saksham Talwar April 4, 2011 at 2:41 PM

Hmm, you’re right. It slows down your site a bit and earnings aren’t too great either!

James Fisher April 4, 2011 at 5:56 PM

I have been successful with Adsense (be sure to try various ad placements and track them using Channels) as well as certain affiliate links. I have been able to sell advertising space as well, which is a lot easier than trying different affiliates. ;)

Saksham Talwar April 5, 2011 at 12:15 PM

He..he..well true affiliate marketing needs a lot more efforts and the other way is just very easy! :D

suraj April 4, 2011 at 11:02 PM

Whats your experience with chitika? I heard chitika pay better than adsense if you have traffic from USA. Whats about you?

Saksham Talwar April 5, 2011 at 12:21 PM

I last used Chitika almost a year back and at that time their earnings were pretty similar to that of Adsense. Unfortunately I am unaware of present Chitika earnings!

James Fisher April 5, 2011 at 3:50 PM

I have signed up with Chitika to see how it compares. I like the fact that it will only show targeted ads when necessary and not ads to products unrelated to my content.

Saksham Talwar April 5, 2011 at 6:10 PM

Hmmm, I think it will result in more sales!

James Fisher April 4, 2011 at 11:15 PM

I have never tried Chitika myself, Suraj.

suraj April 5, 2011 at 9:56 PM

I have a account of chitika james and sakhsam. I think chitika is best after adsense. One good thing about chitika now showing mobile ads for mobiles traffic and show pc ads for pc user. Chitika ad format is just like a adsense ads and high ecpm rate ads. And i also got a mail that they pay double of earning you made.

Saksham Talwar April 5, 2011 at 10:57 PM

Hmm, that may be a temporary offer?

Caleb May 4, 2011 at 7:19 AM

Tribal Fusion requires half a million uniques a month now.
Check their site requirements if you happen to have that many.

Saksham Talwar May 4, 2011 at 12:33 PM

Unfortunately I don’t meet their requirements. I guess now Tribalfusion is only for biggies and big players in the web world! I may be wrong, but I am against their requirements.

Josephine June 24, 2011 at 8:45 AM

Great article, thanks alot.

Google AdSense is always on the Top of the list but it has strict policies therefore it is not liked by many Bloggers.. :) I am currently checking out ‘Smowtion’ for my Tech Blog.

Let’s see if it works!

Online Information Technology Blogger July 2, 2011 at 4:00 PM

Google AdSense is always on the Top of the list but it has strict policies therefore it is not liked by many Bloggers.. :) While TribalFusion requires a high Visitor rating.. I am currently checking out ‘Smowtion’ for my Tech Blog.

Let’s see if it works!

Saksham Talwar July 2, 2011 at 8:25 PM

Hmm, do let us know if it works for you. Well yes, TF requires a lot of users. It’s recommended for big blogs and networks.

Rajiv July 4, 2011 at 6:16 PM

Good collection, but I feel you have left many others, such as burst media, adtegrity and few others.

top ten zoom July 23, 2011 at 11:33 PM

thanks for sharing such good info with us
but add infolink in this list

Saksham Talwar July 24, 2011 at 12:23 PM

When I wrote this piece of information, I didn’t know Infolinks. Will include it when I next time re-edit this article :)

ok
but also search if there is any good alternative of adsense

Saksham Talwar July 25, 2011 at 11:12 AM

Well for Adsense you can try Technorati Media advertisements (CPM ads).

ALOHA

Saksham Talwar August 2, 2011 at 11:45 AM

I always use only a single ad network. It works better for me. Still you can experiment with all the 4 you are using and go with the one performing the best for your blog.

Anushka Sharma August 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM

i think bidvitiser is a scam and they don’t pay…

Saksham Talwar August 10, 2011 at 4:17 PM

Well they do pay, but they pay very less.

Gregory C. August 14, 2011 at 11:34 PM

I still like Chikita even nowadays, but I feel like affiliate banner ads convert even better than the ads offered by these publishers, because you can pick and choose.

Saksham Talwar August 15, 2011 at 1:26 PM

Agree, the possibilities with affiliate banners are a lot more as you can target them to any extent.

AstroGremlin August 20, 2011 at 8:18 PM

I began using Google AdSense right after I started my blog. Have only made about $5 in a couple of months, but it’s something. Seems as though a lot of people see the ads but don’t click on them.

Saksham Talwar August 20, 2011 at 8:48 PM

Well you are right. People have designed their eyes in such a way that they don’t see advertisements ;-)

Marc Kenneth Marquez August 26, 2011 at 8:06 PM

I do like Adsense and Kontera,BidVerTiser’s not good at all,Customer support is very poor though.

Saksham Talwar September 16, 2011 at 12:01 PM

I have lately started agreeing with that. Their support isn’t very good these days!

James Fisher October 31, 2011 at 11:17 PM

I am now using Adsense, Infolinks and Kontera (yes, you can use both in-text providers) with good results. Infolinks and Kontera are about the same for me, performance-wise at the moment.

Wowzilaa November 15, 2011 at 12:37 AM

Just singed up for adbrite on my anime site we shall see how it goes.

Saksham Talwar November 15, 2011 at 10:51 PM

I hope you enjoy using Adbrite!

Sherlogic November 18, 2011 at 12:46 PM

I am using chitika and adsense. By the way, my chitika have a low payment when chitika join IAB.

Saksham Talwar November 18, 2011 at 10:10 PM

I second you Sherlogic! Adsense is better IMO :)

Sherlogic December 8, 2011 at 10:51 PM

Yes, Google Adsense is always the best, but i have been banned for 5 or 7 times, so i use chitika T.T

Saksham Talwar December 10, 2011 at 1:00 AM

Chitika is also good for US traffic.

Marvin November 27, 2011 at 3:13 AM

Saksham,
You share a lot of good sites for advertising. Keep up the good work.
One thing you might consider adding is mobile optimizing sites.
Google seems to think this is important.

Saksham Talwar November 27, 2011 at 2:53 PM

Yeah, mobile optimization has lately become important as the whole world is living a smart phone or mobile life now. Thanks for reminding! :)

cafe dude November 27, 2011 at 4:31 AM

thanks for this information but i want to know which CPM network in low traffic and also support india traffic.

Saksham Talwar December 3, 2011 at 9:47 PM

There is no point using a CPM network with low traffic and that too Indian, but in case you need one, I will recommend Tecnhorati Media ads or Harren Media.

Moaaz December 7, 2011 at 2:24 PM

Adbrite is no longer available for bloggers

Saksham Talwar December 7, 2011 at 8:12 PM

Really? Can you give me a link to your source?
