5 Tips For Choosing The Best Blog Post Titles

Choosing titles for your posts / articles is harder than writing the main content. This is because if your article doesn’t have a catchy title, no one will bother to read it! An article with no content but a catchy and attractive title gets more hits than an article with a bad title but good content!

This doesn’t mean that you just choose the best titles and forget the content. I mean to say concentrate on both i.e. choose the best titles and write the best content. How to choose the best titles? How to title post in a way that readers are immediately attracted to it? Read further and see your questions getting answered!

Which Topic To Choose?

5 Tips For Choosing The Best Blog Post Titles

1.) Keep The Title Short

A short title works wonders! A short title is better than a long one. Keep the title short, but try conveying a lot of information through it! The title “5 Tips For Better Blogging” is better than “Five Tips To Help You Improve Your Blogging Skills”. Getting what I mean to say? Use short titles, but try giving the most information through those few words.

2.) Target The Main Content

What’s the main point you’re discussing in the article? Whatever it is, make sure your post title is related to it! For example, in this post we are discussing about choosing the best titles for your blog articles, so is the post title! Always choose titles related to your post or titles which define the whole post.

3.) Concentrate On SEO Of The Post Title

If you SEO the title properly, it will benefit you even more! Along with bringing visitors, it will also help you get visitors from search engines. Thus a SEO title can be called an all-rounder!

4.) Use Some “Hatke” Words

Understood the heading of this paragraph? Use titles just like these! These titles attract readers or your visitors to the article. For your information, “Hatke” means different from others!

5.) Make Them Click The Article Link

Exaggerate things. Exaggerate the article content, things present in the article. This will make people click the article link and visit the article!

I love reading the whole post as long as it has a convincing title. If you visited viperchill.com, you noticed that most of his blog post is too long but still I love reading it not just because of his blog post title but also the supporting details inside the body of the post…

But anyway, thanks for sharing this great information. I also starting to make an eye grabbing and convincing titles for my future post…

I always struggle with the article title. Sometimes it has to be longer but, I really hate long titles on other sites. I tend to follow most of the tips already though fortunately :). But I can improve, so I think I’ll reference this post when I write my next article lol.

I write my title first, but….. I look at it for a little while. The title gets me started in writing the blog. By the time I’m finished writing the blog, the original title will have nothing to do with the content. So……I write the final title at the end, when I go over the whole entry and tie the title to the end product.
