my blog is not very popular, and i’m kinda stuck. i need some advice. i’m wthinking about making a ‘guest post contest’ but i dont have much to offer for reward … what should i do?
When I saw your blog I see the gaps between each of your post is about 5-6 days and also your Alexa rank and page rank isn’t that good. Well you have a new blog, that’s the reason for it. I recommend you to write at least 1-2 posts everyday on your blog, concentrate on SEO, get more traffic, get good ranks and then launch a contest. Unless you have good traffic and ranks, many might not want to sponsor your contest as they won’t benefit from it. So at least for a month, write daily in your blog.

Even I understood the value of guest blogging when I made my first guest post.
Guest blogging is a win-win for both the blog and the guest author so long as the content is quality. If the content is not quality then it is lose-lose. I think it is important for all blogs to invite guest bloggers. On my new blog I decided to start offering a contest for the top recommended bloggers on my site so that they would be able to get paid for their good work. Welcoming guest bloggers and providing a contest would help to attract more people to your site. And if you offer a contest such as most recommended post then some blog authors may even try to get others to visit their post to recommend it, potentially bringing you more visitors and guest writers to your site. Its something I think that everybody should try. Always welcome on my sites
